The Global Investment Summit 2012 held in Ohrid proved to be an excellent opportunity to increase Macedonia’s visibility as a destination for foreign direct investments, as well as a great opportunity to further strengthen the export potentials of the Macedonian companies. Through our efforts, we have created a platform for cooperation with the Macedonian, Diaspora and international business professionals.

Encouraged by the remarkable feedback of the participants, Macedonia 2025 has recently announced the second Global Investment Summit, to be held on October 8-10, 2013, in Ohrid. During this three-day event, we will focus our work on the competitiveness of the Macedonian economy and will discuss the possibilities of its enhancement through innovation, entrepreneurship and the transfer of know-how. We expect participants from the Macedonian business community, companies from the Diaspora and other interested international investors. In addition, we will continue to cooperate with local businesses, international business professionals and the Macedonian government as we present the investment opportunities in sectors like infrastructure, energy, construction, agri-business, etc.
